This ancient healing technique - some say it originated in China, others say Egypt, Atlantis or the Hopi Indians - supposedly used rolled-up paper or leaves... These days we use hollow waxed cloth candles or cones.
One end of the cone is placed comfortably in the ear, the other end is lit, creating a vacuum that draws out impurities.
Appropriate precautions are taken to prevent any dripping hot wax or flaming candle from burning you.
Essential oil blends supporting the immune and lymphatic systems are used in combination with a gentle massage to relieve congestion, painful discomfort and help your natural ability to heal.
Immune and Lymph formulas are available to buy for you to continue to use at home.
Ear Candling
Right before a cold or flu hits…
Your head starts to feel full and stuffy
You feel buzzy & sensitive to noise
You’re foggy and indecisive.
You feel listless
These are typical examples of when ear candling might help you find relief.
Ear candling has been found to bring about easier breathing, faster recovery from cold and flu symptoms - due to better immune function, and relief of temporary hearing loss.
The onset of seasonal allergies…
Your sinuses are congested
You have a stuffy nose and can’t breathe easily
Your ears are stopped up and they start ringing
You have swollen tender lymph nodes
How often should I have an ear candling?
As a preventative measure, once or twice a year as the seasons change in Spring and Fall is good.
If you are prone to allergies triggered by particular pollens - anytime they are about to bloom will help negate the symptoms or stop them in their tracks.
Whenever you start feeling "under the weather" with allergies or cold symptoms before they get out of hand.
Before flying.
After swimming in lakes or chlorinated pools.
One candling session usually is all that's needed as a preventative.
More than one visit a few days apart is advisable when you have more severe symptoms.
Allow 1-1½ hours for the visit.
$75.00 per session using 4 cones. Additional cones $10.00 each.
